Further information

Tuscany Bike Tour, day 1

From Florence: 8:30 a.m. transfer to our accommodation in Chianti (about 1 hour).
After a quick briefing on tour planning, ground rules (including health and safety, security, environment) and electric bike fitting, we will enjoy a wonderful ride on the Tuscany backroads.
From Greve in Chianti, we will proceed to Montefioralle. This is a wonderful castle claimed to be the birthplace of Amerigo Vespucci.
Next stop? we will visit an old abbey, Badia a Passignano. Rich in history, this place is just really unbelievable and full of fascinating details. There is a fresco from Ghirlandaio, a Michelangelo's crucifix... also Galileo Galilei taught mathematics in this abbey for a while.
Now it's time for a well-deserved top quality lunch with a stunning view.
After lunch, we will proceed with our cycling tour on Tuscany backroads.

Tuscany Bike Tour, day 2

Departure at 9:00 to reach Asciano (province of Siena); transfer will take about 90 minutes.
From Asciano, we will get fascinating Tuscany backroads that are also part of the prestigious Eroica bike race.
The second half of the ride will be on the famous Leonina, perhaps one of the most fascinating bike road in Tuscany, in the middle of Crete Senesi. You will be speechless.
At the end of this bike experience, you will enjoy a very relaxing time in a SPA resort with natural thermal springs water which fills the pools from the source at 39°C/102°F, rich in Sulphur and calcium bicarbonates.
